I was skeptical of this product from the start. Every month I get their magazine full of raves from DHC users and never found anything special about their Mild soap and to me Pure soap was the same as mild soap. I'd been disappointed by a lot of the other makeup removers because I wear a lot of long-lasting makeup for my very oily skin. Me using anything with oil??? Never, I thought. I've been using it for 3 weeks now and I just love it. The key is to use this product on a dry face with dry hands. DHC explains that once the product comes in contact with water it loses its effectiveness. Once I realized th is it worked so well!!! For the first time, when I use a toner, there is no makeup residue on the cotton ball! I am truly impressed, and I have tried many cleansers and makeup removers. Mild products wouldn't properly remove my makeup and strong ones would make my skin peel. This is a very light oil and after I rinse it off with water it does not feel greasy, though "smooth" which then I follow up with Neutrogena Clear Pore Gel Cleanser. That's another good product. I never thought I'd ever be using a product with any oil (yet this is pure oil! <lol>) This is one product from DHC that I will be purchasing in the future!
