This is a shake type foundation (liquid on top, powder on bottom) that is geared towards oily skin. It's kind of tricky to apply (although the shaker type opening helps). The directions say to shake and pour into your palm and apply by dipping your fingers in it and apply it to your face. I find this to be quite messy cause it has the viscosity of water and usually drips out of my hand. Instead, I put a makeup sponge to the top and shake some onto it and rub it into my face. A little goes a long way with this stuff. It leaves a powder finish that lasts on my oily skin. Great product if you have the time to fuss during application.
