I think this shade was a part of EL's 2000 new collection (along with their pink and purple 2000 lip glosses, etc.). Anyway, I saw it on display and decided to give it a try. It's a burgundy-like color with hints of gold. I am not usually attracted to the darker brown shades of lipstick, but this works wonderfully on my fair skin. It is an extremely flattering shade with or without lipliner, and it's also moisturizing.
