This is a nice weekly treatment you can do in the shower while you bathe. You don't have to heat it up, as your own body heat is enough to help it penetrate the hair. The product smells a little like Aveda's Sap Moss Conditioner(or is it Oak Moss, I can't remember), only not as strong. There's a definite earthy smell to it, though, which may turn off a few people. That being said, it works very nicely on my very fried and very damaged hair, so I'm chosing to deal with it. After you use your other styling products and what not, the smell just goes away anyway. I never fail to get compliments on my hair the day after I use it. My hair feels soft and is easier to style inspite of the heavy damage, so this is a product I'd definitely buy again and recommend highly.
