I don’t let a day go by without washing every last bit of makeup, dirt, and grime from my face. I cringe at the thought of mascara traces on my pillowcase. That means I take a lot of stock in my facial cleansers and I won’t settle for a bar of Ivory soap either, too drying. I have a few different cleansers on the vanity of late but I’m giving the Fresh line a workout after trying some other products that I’ve been impressed with.
Fresh’s Milk Formula Face Cleansing Milk is a gentle cleanser worth trying. It comes in a user-friendly tube with a screw cap. The tube dispenses a rich white cleansing cream that doesn’t lather up in full volume like a liquid soap. It develops from a rich cream into a gentle lather leaving a smooth skin tone when finished. The cream has a slight texture to it, probably from the added milk powder. It is not textured like an exfoliating scrub but has a few grains here and there. It smells really good with notes of rose, chamomile, and lavender on the predominant side. There are plenty of soothing moisturizers to keep your skin pliable after use of the Milk Formula Cleansing Milk versus some of the mass merchandised brand soaps like Ivory. Use twice a day, massage in and rinse. (BM)
