I ordered this from the Garden Botanika website (www.gardenbotanika.com) without having seen the product.

When I first opened the tube, I thought I had made a mistake: this is darker, and pinker, than my notion of "porcelain." I would

not want this colour for a real foundation. But having tried it, I'm sold. This is a really nice summer substitute for foundation. It gives a nice, natural-looking tint for very fair skin (like a very subtle self-tanner for pale skin).

I don't know about the other shades (there are four): it was easy to deduce that "porcelain" was the lightest colour, but the names of the other shades don't seem very helpful (eg, what colour is Macadamia?).

This product makes no claim to being "oil-free," so there is probably oil in there somewhere; but I have combination skin with oily T-zone, and it hasn't bothered me.
