These are fat pencils that can be used as eyeliner or shadow. I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 because the dark, matte/cream colors smear and don't apply very well, but the pearl colors, like Steam Heat (silver) and Reach for Roses (pearly blue/pink) apply very well and are simple and effective. I highly recommend the shimmery pencils, but not the dark-colored ones. The shimmery ones last fairly well, stay put, and crease after a few hours, but they are cream-based, and only cost me $2.39, so I don't mind too awful much.
