Does this live up to the hype? To some extent.
Cons: It's a bit runny and thin, and maybe a touch too sheer, and can accentuate dry spots a bit. The SPF is a weak 8 and is not broad spectrum.
Pros: It comes in pretty good colors (buffy is the 2nd lightest and is an extremely neutral-toned shade). It does cover just enough to take the edge off redness, is easily buildable while staying light, has a pleasantly dry finish (not greasy), and best of all it doesn't break me out in the least, and is cheap cheap cheap.
Overall, a good deal for the price, and seems very good for acne prone normal to oily/combination skin.
