I've had this for a while, but I notice that it is out in the new packaging. It is a chubby pencil with a red-berry purple color, rather than blue purple color. I really like the color on my fair skin. It has just a touch of brightness. It is one of those "notice me" colors and textures. It goes on smoothly, but it works best with a little cream or balm under it-then it is very smooth. It bleeds slightly, so I use a lipliner with it. It wears off fairly well-not scary for a dark lipstick. It has a creamy-matte look, very pigmented. It has a texture that is better than a lot of chubby pencils that are too creamy and have no staying power. I gave it a 4 because it tends to need a touch up around the edges after eating, more than in the middle where it stays on better.
