I am lucky to have great eyelashes and usually use L'Oreal Featherlash for a polished work day look. The Fan club mascara made my eyelashes look very long and thick--perfect for a dressy night out. This mascara did not flake or rub off and I did not have to wipe much off the wand before applying. It is a drier formula than L'Oreal but I quite like it and will buy it again.
