I have shoulder-length, layered blonde hair. I comb this purple gel through my towel-dried hair and then blowdry. It really makes the layers more obvious and doesn't make my hair greasy or sticky. Plus, it controls flyaways and frizzies. The only downside is that it DOES have a smell. I don't think it's bad, but smell before ya buy!!!
