This comes in pot form and looks like a bright opaque red with pink tones. When applied, it comes out as a semi-sheer cherry shade, which is very pretty. This actually has more of a balmy feeling/texture than most glosses. It does have shine but not as much as I would like. Also, it smells heavenly in the pot but tastes and smells quite the opposite when you're wearing it. (Trust me, I can stand almost any kind of fragrance/taste in cosmetics, so this is pretty rare.) There are an even number of positive and negative qualities to this product. If you aren't bothered by the smell, you may enjoy this gloss.
