This product is a leave-in conditioner meant to be applied after towel drying hair. It is in a mousse formulation which makes it easy to see where it is being put. I like this product because it makes my thick, foiled wavy hair (which has a tendency to be on the dry side) smooth and easy to comb through, and results in a conditioned feel and appearance whether diffused or air dried. It has a very light pleasant scent (but really almost none at all). I alternate this product with an Aveda leave-in spray but I like this one much better because, while it adds conditioning to the hair after towel drying, it doesn't add in wetness like the Aveda product. This means that when I use the Kerastase product my blow or air drying time is much shorter. I really love this product and will buy it again, and will abandon the Aveda product once I have used it all. I purchased the Kerastase in August and still have about half left (but only use it about 2-3 times per week). It is expensive ($22 for 5.1 fluid oz.) but seems to be lasting much longer than I imagined. This is a really great product from this line that I highly recommend trying. I should note that it is not a styling mouse at all and I still use another gel product to promote curl and control. My only complaint is that I sometimes find dispensing the product a bit awkward, as one really must press the "pump" hard to dispense the product. I think there should be an improvement made to the pump that requires less pressure to operate (this from a person with tired hands from using the computer too much). Otherwise a nearly perfect product.
