I bought the large tub (the small tub is $4-5) because I simply cannot live without it. I usually put a lot on before bed (to let the excess absorb during the night) and wake up with super soft lips that don't chap. I really never need any balm during the day because this does such a great job. However, it's wonderful as a gloss over lipstick as well. Another amazing product from Kiehls!
