This is a decent lightweight moisturizer for the face that is "oil-free". It does, however, have some ingredients in it that may be comodogenic for acne-prone and oily skins. The consistency is thick, yet it easily absorbs into the skin and makes the skin amazingly soft (softest that any moisturizer has ever done for me). I did get some breakout on my forehead so I only use this product on my cheeks. Btw, Sodium PCA is a natural humectant that is non-comodogenic in itself and helps your skin absorb moisture from the environment.

If you have acne prone skin or even combination skin, you should avoid Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer like it is the plague because it is a very greasy product for those of us who are use to oil-free formulas.
