I purchased Cleansing Lotion together with the Cleansing Gel which I usually have in summer. I am amazed how my skin improved since I'm using both La Mer cleansing products. My pores seem smaller, skintone improved and bags under eyes are lessened, also I had the impression that they help fading old acne scars (in combination with the Idealist I'm wearing). The lotion cleanser won't remove heavy make up, but for me (concealer, pressed powder) it removes all the dirt and debris and doesn't dry my skin out. It seems to melt into the skin binding the dirt particles. I checked with the tonic - my skin was abolutely clean, no residues whatsoever - and I have dirty skin at the end of the day. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5, is the price. 20 bucks less would be ok. If these two cleansers keep improving my skin, I'll repurchase them.
