There is a lot of hype about the La Mer product line. And all of it is TRUE! I recieved the Oil- Absorbing lotion for Christmas along with samples of the cleansing gel,refining facial,tonic, eye balm, the serum and the jewel of the line, the moisturizing cream. All of these, used on a daily basis, has made a HUGE improvement in my skin. The oil-absorbing lotion keeps my skin shine free, smooth and matte all-day long with no touch-ups. I have very oily skin and huge pores and I can't rave enough about this product. It retails for $140 and I'm sure that there are other products that are cheaper and do relatively the same thing. But this line, although expensive, is worth the money. I don't know why it does what it does, but my skin has NEVER been softer,clearer or smoother in my life. From now on I will be saving my money to continously buy this lotion along with any other product I can afford. You only use a small amount so a bottle will last a long time. It really is a miracle.
