I was sold this product by a Lancome trainee who had very little makeup
counter experience, and I returned it promptly two days later. For me, this
foundation was very, very opaque and thick. Once applied it went nowhere.
The coverage was very thick, making my face look spackled. I don't really have
large pores, just normal combination skin, but this foundation made me look
poreless. My skin felt stifled and strained. Even after over 8 hours of wear
it still looked freshly applied. Towards the end of the day, I noticed some dryness around my nose, and
couldn't wait to remove it. I guess this foundation just wasn't for me, as it
completly dried out my nose and forehead. The coverage was way to opaque
and fake looking. Someone with very oily, acne prone skin may like this, since
it covers so well. I exchanged the Maquicontrole with their Maquilibre which
is much better suited to my needs.
