In addition to the five attractive colors that give an added brightness to eyes, pluses for this eye liner are the ease of preparation and control. It comes in a trademark Laura Mercier mirrored compact, which is easy to hold as you first dip your brush into water and then work a little of the liner into a paste. The consistency is creamy, and once applied it dries quickly.

Whatever effect you want - sexy sloe-eyed? Ingenue? They're all in this little compact. The Emerald Green is a beautiful shade that flatters both blue and brown eyes.

The brush is your choice - either a flat eye liner brush or a pointed eye liner brush. (You may prefer the pointed if you want to dot in between individual lashes).

Some of the things I've learned about eye liner:
A tiny upward tip to the eyes outer corner gives an added lift to the eye.
Trying applying a thin line first and then thicken if you want a more siren look.
A line of color just below the roots of the lower lashes adds pizzaz.

All day, all night this is a liner that lasts (unless, of course, your guy says sayonara).

He probably wasn't worth your time anyway.
