I bought the beige instead of the translucent for more color. The texture is exquisite. It is so fine. The application is smooth and fine. A big puff of powder in one place of the face is nearly impossible with the texture of this powder. I like it better than T.LeClerc because it looks more like a skin tone than some color used to highlight. Gives a realistic finish to the face. Of course, oily t-zones need to touch up but you won't have that layered powdered look when you do.
