Not too matte, good but not heavy coverage. Airwear goes on smoothly and lasts a long time! The website says NOT to use a powder over it but I found that if I didn't I had my (USUAL) oily breakthrough by midday. The second day I wore it I did brush loose powder over it and it lasted all day. In the evening before going out to dinner I used some pressed powder over my nose and was all set to go. The amazing thing was I could find a color match. Loreal foundation colors are always too pink for me but Beige 30 was a good match for my skintone, which needs some yellow but NOT orange. I can't wait to try the powder version!
