This product better than the attention it gets. It has been around a while, but I've never tried it because the name makes it sound heavy and old. I once had a roomate who used it, however, and she never looked like she was wearing foundation. On a BOGO I tried Soft Ivory and Nude Beige as a 50/50 mix. The color works well, and I was surprised to find that the translucence of my skin still shows through. This is a soft glow matte on me. The color looks good in fluorescent light and the foundation does not increase the shadows on my face (due to fat loss with age), as many matte foundations do. I gave it a 4 because I've never found a perfect foundation, although Jane Stay Calm is close. Mattique is more sheer and my skin looks a bit more real.
