I completely agree with everyone - This is the best product on the market for curly hair. I have been a user of this gel for over 15 years and I find that it works the best on my hair. My hair looks healthy and shiny every time I use it and my curls stay in control for the entire day. Even in rainy weather, the gel manages to keep my curls in check most of the day. Since Loreal has discontinued the product, my hair looks terrible. I had to scrape the bottom of my purse to purchase this gel for $10 online - Unbelievable!! I decided to write a letter of complaint to Loreal (address below). If everyone takes some time to address a complaint to the President of Loreal, perhaps they will consider bringing the product back. Those of us with curly hair are consistently overlooked in the hair care market. The new products introduced by Loreal are in no way a substitute for the lasting curls gel. I cannot understand why they would discontinue this fabulous product and replace it with one that is ineffectual.
