I recently had foiling done in my hair with highlights and lowlights, but the highlights in the front looked horrible next to my pale skin. I lived with this for almost a month and then decided on one of my many Ulta escapades to purchase Casting ColorSpa in Mocha. I wanted to make sure it would cover the ghastly yellowish, reddish blonde (you get the picture) highlights going through my hair. It was almost two shades deeper then my natural brown which is between light and medium. I figured worse case scenario, Casting washes out in 28 shampoos. Before my bad judgment of trying the pale highlights, I had actually given thought to going to a deeper, richer brown for a change. I used the color yesterday and I wish it was permanent. It is so beautiful and left my hair so shiny and movable. I feel like I want to be their spokesperson. If you have light/medium brown and want to try a richer brown, this is the color for you. It has minimal red (slight amber undertones), but does not look the least bit mousy. Absolutely gorgeous. As for the smell, not bad at all. When you are processing it is a little strong (grapefruit), but when you rinse it out it just smells like a fresh grapefruit.
