This color is a neutral toned, medium intensity, plummy browm. It seems to be good for pale skins that can't wear brown well. Put on thin, my lips show through. an extra layer makes it a darker matte effect. I think this be a great color of this line. It is a little like CG French Toast. The texture of this lipstick is a thin medium matte with a hint of shimmer that is undetectable, but it keeps the lipstick from looking like a matte 80's look. The texture definitely sits up on the lips well to enhance the shape, if that makes sense. I wore Rimmel Abacadabra lipliner with it. I also bought Mauve Amour, also very pretty subdued mauve. This one pulled away from my lipliner in chunks a little, Fawn Fatale didn't do that. I think of these as European colors, but I don't know why, I'm not qualified to say. They are subtle, but still with impact. Definitely noticeable, but a far from what you might envision someone wearing on "Dallas." These colors are sophisticated. I gave it a 4 because I was afraid of the chunks and it has that Loreal lipstick smell. It definitely lasts a long time and through a light meal. Comes off on a coffee cup, but still leaves enough color on lips.
