I heard this was the perfect raisin color. This is true. Think your-lips-but-raisin. It is shiny and just deepens my lip color. It is casual and sophisticated at the same time- it is Saturday in the city. It lasts about a medium amount of time for a gloss. I used a spice or mauve pencil with it. Even after a while when it wore off my lips were still stained with the pigment, even if there was no gloss left. So it isn't like looking in the mirror and being shocked with nothing lips. I was skeptical because I bought taupe luster also, and while it is a beautiful color, it was a little dull on my pale skin.You may have heard about the packaging. The gloss never stops oozing. I recommend not squeezing-hold very gently by the crimped end of the tube, open, let it ooze out, recap and then put it on your lips. I gave it a 4 because of that and I wish it would last longer. The color on the box looks totally unintersting. This is not too deep, not to pale, not too brown, not too red.
