I'm a big fan of L'Oreal mascaras. All of them are quite competent. I typically use L'Oreal voluminous, but for the summer I wanted to try something a little lighter. Featherlash is exactly what it claims to be: a lightweight mascara. Don't expect any dramatic plump, curl or lengthening; you get slightly darker, slightly longer, natural-looking lashes. I liked the fact that the wand comes out of the tube ready to apply. You don't need to wipe off the wand as you do with so many mascaras (including Voluminous). I took one point away because of its lastability (is that a word?). This mascara doesn't flake but it DOES smudge fairly easily so I took one point off. If it comes in a waterproof formula that might be worth a try as well.
