I purchased this with the expectations that it wasn't going to give me super curled lashes, so I was fairly satisfied with this product. My eyelashes tend to be straight and like to be straight, so no matter what eyelash curler I've used, by the end of the day my eyelashes don't look that curled. While this product by itself didn't give me curly lashes, in conjunction with the eyelash curler it worked beautifully. I'm guessing there's something like a "gel" to hold the curl in which is why this product helped keep the curl in my lashes longer. It lasted 10 hours of indoor/outdoor activities without smudges or flakes. Since doesn't come off my eyelashes, it was just as hard to get it off!! If you find a good remover (I've heard Bi-facil is good, I use Joey NY) it should be okay.
