I used to happily use Neutrogena's loose powder until all of the stores in my area stopped carrying it... therefore I had to try a bunch of different brands to find a replacement. I found L'Oreal's Translucide Powder (I use the translucent color) to be the lightest-feeling, silkiest powder -- even more so than the Neutrogena powder I had loved! It is so finely milled that it sits perfectly on your face. It has a slight shimmer to it which gives your skin a very natural glow (as if you were not wearing powder) as opposed to making your skin shinny or glimmery. I wear this powder over Translucide foundation (I LOVE this stuff) but also over my non-"illuminating" foundation as well. My skin is dry and this is the first powder that keeps my skin looking fresh (not flaky) all day and into the night. If you love to look like you're not wearing makeup, this is the powder for you! One container lasts me for 4 months and I use a big ol' powder brush to apply it. I may try one of the "colored" versions of this powder once I get some summer color to my face!
