Trace Gold is a sheer golden color with hints of bronze and peach. It imparts more of a golden highlight than actual color on my medium olive skin, but that's the look I was after when I decided to purchase it. It doesn't show up well on my skin on its own. I use Trace Gold over other blushes to give them depth and warmth. It perks up warmer-toned blushes beautifully. I also like to apply it at my temples and down the bridge of my nose for a soft golden glow. I have to be careful and not apply too much, however, or else the shimmer accentuates my pores. My main complaint about Trace Gold is that it doesn't have good staying power on my oily skin. I probably won't use this all that often, but it's nice to have to add a sense of fun to my look.
