The MAC store had a packet of blot film at the register to sample, so I took a couple sheets for later that day when I knew I'd be shiny faced. These sheets are made out of a rubber grey material though not very stretchy. The makeup lady explained that these were better because they didn't tear (although I've never had that problem with other blot sheets) and that the product could absorb oil on both sides. In my case, my face is so oily, the oil went through to the other side on most of the sheet. While I do not see why only 30 sheets has to cost $10, if the price doesn't matter, I would definately recommend it. My positive reasons were different from the reasons given above. I liked it because I felt that it absorbed more oil the first time around. I have very large pores, and found that with most tracing paper type blot sheets, my face left pore marks on the sheet. However with this product, there were no pore prints on the sheet. I also felt that my face felt less oiler after blotting once compared to other brands. I could see that this product is very beneficial for those with very oily skin. Once I finish my current blotting sheets I will consider this product.
