I went to the MAC counter wanting to buy eyeshadow and left with a shadestick in "sharkskin," a silverish black color. The consistency is creamy and it goes on like a pencil, but can be worn like eyeshadow. It stays on forever, and can be used as a base for MAC eyeshadows. I originally bought this to use as a base, but I love it on it's own! I'm actually going back to exchange an eyeshadow I bought with another shadestick! They're so easy to apply, last forever, and can be used as an eyeshadow base - what's not to like? :)
