Even tho this is such a dramatic color I pretty much knew from the start that I would like it. The color in the pot is very scary tho lol...its a VERY bright true yellow. Even tho its a matte formula, when I apply it I detect a tiny bit of sheen, nothing obvious, just not completely matte, but that's good I didn't want this to look like bright yellow opaque paint on my eyelids. Used dry this is nowhere near as shockingly bright as it is in the pan. It is definitly yellow tho, no denying that. I have yet to use it wet, and doubt that I will b/c its pigment is totally enough to me using it dry. I have paired this with Prestige's Flushed eyeshadow and totally love it. The two colors work amazing together and create a great 'sunset' eye look. With a little experimental ideas I'm sure I'll be able to create lots of fun looks with this. If you're thinking about purchasing this shadow, I definitly recommend it. Its a great unique shadow for anybody looking for a yellow shadow to add to their collection.
