I tried the tinted moisturizer which was sheer and did even out my skin tone however I wanted to try this one because of all the reviews. I bought c3 for my yellow-light-medium skin tone. It goes on sheer but as you rub it in it feels more opaque and it gave me more coverage than the tinted moisturizer. It didn't feel heavy or cakey on my combination skin and covers redness well. Also, it didn;t make my face look like an oil slick, felt very comfortable, more than the select foundation with spf 15.
