I've worked in the cosmetic industry, and what you people don't know is that MAC is photography makeup, and not made for everyday use, the reason people rave about it is because it promises excellent coverage, well have you ever looked really close to the skin of the people who are selling it, they have bad breakouts, and it cloggs your pores, they wear so much of it you can't tell form far away, plus the lighting complements your skin in the store, what I'm saying is LOOK UP CLOSE! rethink your decision.
