After reading all the reviews on this product, I had to see for myself what all the raves were about. I had been using Clinique translucent loose powder to set my foundation, but I was just about running out of this when I decided to try MAC. The MA chose quite a good color match to my skin for me--C3. Although it's a little yellower than the Clinique #4 I had, it complements my yellow undertones--something I had to get used to. Anyway, this luxurious powder/foundation is very finely milled which makes all the difference in the way it looks on your face. It can be used alone when applied with the sponge puff that comes with it, or you can use a brush. The MA explained that it's what all the girls who work at the MAC counter use. A little goes a long way, so this compact will last me for some time--a great deal for the price. Plus, you can take it with you for touch ups--something you couldn't do with the loose powders. Another hurrah for MAC cosmetics!!
