This is a dual purpose mask/cleanser for people on the go (and who isn't??) It can be used just as rinse off cleanser to remove makeup or left on 5 minutes to deep clean. I have used it both ways and have been very pleased with it. The only problem is that you cannot get it near your eyes (don't use it to remove eye makeup) because it makes your eyes tear. Besides clay ingredients there are a lot of botanicals in it, and it is non-drying, so it always rinses off easily however you choose to use it.
