I bought this at one of those Mary Kay parties -- an obligation I just couldn't get out of. In general I find Mary Kay products acceptable, but nothing special for the money. This "kit" includes a hand cream, a scrub, another hand cream, and something else too -- I can't remember now. All of them had that "old lady cosmetics" smell that reminded me of my grandmother's hand creams, and I don't mean that in a good, nostalgic way. An attractive scent (or even NO scent) would have been nice. The steps you have to take to get "satin hands" are labor intensive, and rather complicated. I don't have time for it. And in these Mary Kay products the ingredients are absolutely nothing special -- mostly glorified petrollium jelly in the hand cream -- which is plentifully emmollient, of course, but you can get a jar of that for under $2 at any store, and, honestly, if you're into lavishing attention on your hands you can pick up any scrub and any good hand cream and go at it for a lot less money.
