I bought this after Lancome raised the prices for their Double Powder Foundation again in the hopes this would be a good substitute. It is not really close to the Lancome in texture.It is a bit powdery and chalky but if I wear it on top of my Almay Time Off Lasting Moisture SPF 25 it gives me semi-sheer coverage I can live with.

It works best to use it as a powder rather than a foundation for coverage unless you want to look like a kabuki.

The packaging is the biggest drawback. There is no compartment for the sponge (which left a gross latex smell on my face) so I had to keep the sponge with part of the plastic shell it came in.
