I have been repeatedly disappointed with the quality of Maybelline cosmetics over the years, but this product is the glowing exception to the rule. I noticed a tester for Maybelline's Pure Blush at my local drugstore and gave it the usual tryout. Well, the color on the tester was pretty nasty - a shade called "Pure Kiss". It was nearly white in the container and nearly white when I applied it to my hand. What attracted me was the texture. It's very finely milled and applied with no streaks. I went to the display rack and grabbed a color more suitable for my skin tone - a really pretty spring color called "Pure Berry". If my drugstore didn't have a no-hassle cosmetic return policy, I might not have purchased it. I brought it home and even though the packaging states it is best applied with your fingers, I used my trusty Blush Brush and it applied like a dream. I'm going back today to get almost every shade they have. I love this product and give it two thumbs way way up! Way to go Maybelline! A real winner!
