This Eye Pencil can be used as an eyeliner or an eyeshadow...that's what it says. If you try to use it as a liner, clumps stick to your lashes. It's better used as a shadow. And, being so smooth and soft, it wears down REALLY FAST. So what, it's a pencil so it can be sharpened, right? Not really! After a couple days worth of use, mine needed sharpening....so when I tried to sharpen it, it was a disaster. First of all, the soft creamy shadow in the pencil gobbed up in the sharpener, and the pencil itself didn't sharpen smoothly but split into shards sharp enough to poke your eye out! Really not worth the money at all...I would recommend not a pencil, but something like a twist-up stick of cooling eye cream...Bath and Body Works has some of those...
