I love this foundation ! I admit the "Try Me Free" offer in the store got my attention, as did the mostly positive reviews here of other Maybelline foundations. I applied this with a sponge and it has a sheer coverage that lasted all day. My typically shiny T-zone stayed matte (the primary ingredient is the same as in Neutrogena's Pore Refining Mattifier which costs more than this foundation). I did not use a moisturizer under the foundation and this makeup did not look chalky. Nude was an excellent color for me, and Golden would be good when I have more of a tan. This is an excellent choice for someone who wants a matte finish.
