Alright, I tend to use high end products, particularly when it comes to foundation. BUT I always refer to Paula Begoun's book before I buy any products. Anyways I've been using Sue Devitt's gel foundation, which has been great. I have slightly oily skin, but during certain times of the month, the skin around my mouth/nose area gets really dry and red. My foundation only accentuated the dryness and peeling- icky. So I decided to try a foundation for dry skin just for that area, to see if it would minimize the dryness. I didn't want to spend much $, so I looked for a drugstore brand. True Illusion has been AMAZING. When my skin has dry spell, it lasts for over a week- well I used this foundation and by the next day my skin was hardly peeling or dry! Not only that, it gives my skin a creamy smooth look w/o being fake or cakey. It feels nice and, like I said, it's done wonders for my dry patches- it's like it somehow balanced out my skin and allowed it to go back to normal. I don't know what really happened, all I know is that I am amazed by this foundation and I highly recommend it! I've been using it everyday all over my face for over a week, and I haven't had any breakouts of acne or dryness. I LOVE this stuff!
