I must have bought this product when it was first introduced because I love this lip gloss. Mine was not the least bit dry. I purchased the Mauvie Star and actually repurchased this when I thought that I had lost my first one. The color was gorgeous--looked just like it looked in the tube--and was very easy to apply and not glossy. I liked this even better than MAC's liquid glosses because the texture was much creamier. Maybe it depends on which shade you buy, but this is a keeper for me.
