I tried this lip gloss, because I was looking for something more sheer for the summer. I liked the sheer mauve-ish color. It is definitely very sheer, and I might go back and try a darker color, because I do like the lip gloss. I usually don't even wear lip gloss, because I don't like the stickiness, but I found that this wasn't sticky. I tried using this over a lipstick, and found I liked the effect a lot. I'm still trying to get used to wearing "regular" lip gloss/lipstick (since I'm a big CG Outlast fan), but I do like this product.
