I read a couple of days ago a review of Maybelline Shine Free Makeup layered with Cover Girl Simply Powder Foundation. I don't have a lot of breakouts, which was a concern of the first reviewer, but it sounded interesting because I need something to give my skin good texture and a look of "fullness". I tend to have a lot of shadows and look thin and drawn. I tried this and it really works well. It makes an amazing texture for the skin. It isn't heavy at all-looks very natural and seemed to "plump up" my skin. I never liked the Cover Girl Powder Foundation on its own. It gives a good texture, but tended to make my shadows show up more. Shine Free seems O.K. on its own, but I agree the combination of the two is great, at least for two people. My skin looked really smooth. I used Shine-Free nude (a little too yellow for me) and C.G. Ivory (a little too neutral on me) and the combination was great. It sounds weird, but I've tried a lot of foundations and, like a lot of people, am never satisfied, but I look really tired without founadation. I also tried a Prescriptives powder foundation over the Shine Free. It worked, too, but it is old. I don't know if Prescriptives still sells it.
