Murad's AHA/BHA cleanser is lightly exfoliating, containing tiny scrubbing beads. It has a mild scent (though not nearly as bad as some of the other products in their line), mostly just a 'soapy' smell. I like this product, but I found it a bit drying. I also wish it had a bit more of an scrubbing action, but on the other hand it was gentle enough that I don't worry about using it daily. It rinses clean, without leaving a film. I do not know how it works on removing makeup, as I generally remove mine first with a seperate cleanser.
