If you're looking for an acne cream, you can't do better than this. My teenage son has the normal flare-ups and breakouts. It took some convincing to get him to understand that when your face is inflammed and upset you don't break out the STRONGEST benzoyl peroxide product you can find, they only tear up your face and make the cycle of inflammation worse! This 2.5% cream is just the ticket -- strong enough to deal with the acne, and yet it doesn't upset the skin. His acne skin care regimine involves washing twice a day with Biore Blemish Fighting Cleanser (a gentle foaming face wash with salyclic acid) and using the Neutrogena On the Spot for any bumps. His skin has improved dramatically, and I can tell immediately when he skips a day. I've used both products too for my own occasional flare-ups, so they're appropriate for more "mature" skin as well.
