I used to use this in high-school, but I stopped because it was too over-drying, even for my very oily skin. Well, I've tried it again (now a few years later), and I'm very pleased with the results. The salicylic acid in it really does help gently exfoliate the skin, and the product lathers very well. Since using this cleanser, even though my skin was pretty clear before, the tiny white annoying bumps on my chin have disappeared, and my already infrequent breakouts have diminished further. A couple of things, however--do not get in eyes! I don't use this cleanser to remove makeup, since it stings the eyes, so. Also, even oily skin will probably have to be moisturized while damp with this product because it is sort of drying. I only use it about once a day, and it still makes my skin flaky. I still give it a 5, however, because the results are so good with the proper care and usage.
