Overall, I think this is a pretty good foundation, although it is a little sheer for coverage. Since it is meant for clearing up the skin, wouldn't you want to conceal the stuff you need to clear up?! That's why I give the foundation a 4 instead of a 5. I do like that it contains salicylic acid and vitamins. I wish that it offered UV protection, although you probably receive some physical protection from it. Anyway, I chose Classic Porcelain which is the lightest of the shades. I noticed they no longer offer Vanilla as a color choice, which would have been the one better suited to my palor. The shade blends in well, though, considering how "peachy" the tone looked in the compact. I only use this foundation in my problem areas, so blendability is of utmost importance. Due to the sheerness of the coverage, I had to build-up the coverage a little by tapping lightly onto the blemished areas, and still needed to use a concealer afterwards. Definitely didn't need powder, though, and the coverage and texture has lasted all day even without any touch-ups. This foundation is a little dry for my skin in the winter, but I think it would work well for me in the summer. Oilier skins would find it more appropriate than normal or combination skins during drier cooler months. Overall, I think the Skin Clearing Compact is a good product, but be sure to moisturize well if you have any dryness.
